Aloha Justin, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and my sales person J.P. Cook for a job well done. I received my Road King a few days ago and it is a beautiful motorcycle. It arrived without a scratch and I am slowly but surely getting used to a much larger (but smoother) ride. Still a little nervous as the Road King is a little more top heavy for around town turns and stops but on the highway it can’t be beat. I have been riding (Harley’s) since I was 17 years old, I am now 59. In all of my life and years riding, I have never been treated as good as my family and I were treated at Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson. My family and I were 900 miles away from home with a broken old bike, separated and stranded until the people of TMHD; booked a hotel room, found us transportation, fixed our bike and made us feel at home. I have been to hundreds of Harley Davidson dealerships but have never ever been anyplace like Thunder Mountain, a BIG THANK YOU to the employees.

We just wanted to express our appreciation on our experience of purchasing our very 1st Harley. This has been a life-long dream & it finally came true & was one of the best experiences EVER! We moved to Casper, WY 3 years ago from Northern CA. We have done purchases from vehicle dealerships before & to be honest, were a bit afraid of the “sharks” (aka….salesman). We couldn’t of been more surprised & thrilled at how WRONG we were. Our experience…in 1 word: AWESOME!!!! We did our “homework” prior to deciding on Thunder Mountain Harley and Customer Service is definately SUPERIOR here and why we drove 238 miles. J.P…well not enough words to explain how helpful, kind & patient he was thru this entire process!! After a few phone calls, we had the choice made, numerous questions answered on everything from financing details, insurance & even the weather; as well as some good places to eat! We were a bit surprised to learn we could trade-in our minivan towards the downpayment of the Harley! Kids outta the house; Dad & Mom get a new toy! We arrived early Saturday morning & was greeted by JP who treated us like life-long friends!…JP & Justin came out & looked over the trade & before we knew it my husband was on his test ride. We were then guided thru the whole “Poker-Run” process. Tyler in Service…GREAT, kind & very helpful. The “special details” we ordered for the Harley weren’t on it yet but he made all the arrangements to accomodate our schedule. Onto motorclothes…Katie & Tina….they’re the definition of GREAT Customer Service! My husband was in heaven with 2 women “fussing” over him from top to bottom! Josh in Finance….again the definition of SUPERIOR Customer Service. Every detail reviewed & explained if we had questions. Short, sweet & to the point and very clear! Once dressed & ready to get on the road I think everyone was deaf after we rang the GONG! We will be back for all of our Servicing needs! DEFINITELY worth the drive and we have done nothing but BRAG about the experince since we’ve been home! THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE THIS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

To Manager Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson; My name is Martin Sohlberg, and I would like to share my first Harley experience with you. First off, let me thank the staff at Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson especially J.P Cook, for their help during my first Harley Davidson experience. I am from Colorado Springs, 150 miles from your dealership. I have contacted HD dealers in Colorado Springs and Pueblo in regards to purchasing a new Harley Davidson FLHX 103. I used internet email to ask questions in regards to price and financing opportunities, and received no response. With your dealership I found something totally different. I sent an email in the morning and received a response the same day with answers to my questions. After my initial contact with J.P Cook, he sent me a flyer that highlighted a potential financing interest deal that I had been looking for. I contacted him to start processing paperwork for my purchase. J.P. remained in constant contact with me during the process. I will definitely recommend Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson to my friends, when they get ready to make their first or next Harley Davidson purchase. Saturday, I drove up to the dealership to sign final documents for the purchase of my bike. What impressed me was the way that the staff gets involved in the purchase process. When anyone purchases a bike a “poker run” is conducted where you move from department to department and meet the folks that run that department and get an explanation of services. Boy, I really wish that dealership was closer to home, because that is where I would have my services done, no questions about it. The main reason I chose to purchase my Harley from your dealership, is that your customer support/service is outstanding. If I had questions, the response was always quick and contained the right information to make a decision. As a consumer, poor customer service always leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. With that being said, again I would like to thank you the services that your dealership provides to its customers.

Hey, Dave, Just a note to thank you and the whole crew at TMHD for helping me find my 2011 Softail and taking such good care of me. It’s the best purchase I have ever made! I’ve been riding for a long time, ever since my first Honda 90 in 1966, and with this bike I finally have The One. And my wife loves it, too – we’ve put almost 2000 miles on in about a month, with a lot more to come. Again, thank you for being so knowledgeable and such a pleasure to deal with. TMHD is a really well-run, professional, and friendly place, and I look forward to a great relationship for a long time.

Robert Wagner purchased a 2006 FLHP from us on Monday February 15, 2010. He came in yesterday to give us the title to his trade and to sign up with H-D insurance. I began to talk with Mr. Wagner about why he decided to do business with TMHD, and he went on to tell me about an experience he had with our service department, over ten years ago. Mr. Wagner drove passed our old dealership on prospect where his vehicle ran out of gas. He hiked up the hill to our old dealership and was guided back to the service department, where he was given a gallon of gasoline to help him get to the nearest gas station. Mr. Wagner said that when he returned the gas can and offered to pay service back for the gallon of gas, they kindly declined. He said that that at the time he wanted a Harley Davidson, but could not afford to purchase one. On Monday he came in to purchase his first Harley, and said that he has always remembered the day he ran out of gasoline and also remembered the dealership that helped him out. Mr. Wagner said when it came time for him to purchase his H-D is was unquestionable where he would buy from. I thought this was a great story about how everything we do as a store portrays our image to Thunder Mountain’s customers.

“I recently came in prepared to make an offer on a used TM Custom Gunnison that I had been looking at for a while. Unfortunately, the bike had just been sold. Of course, I was a bit disappointed. I was kicking around the showroom when I ran into Doug. Doug didn’t try to sell me anything. He asked me what I rode now and what models I liked. He showed me any bike I asked about but never tried to sell me on anything. When Doug realized I might be interested, he showed me a beautiful used Heritage Classic your shop had just brought in on trade. It was a super clean, low-mileage, nicely equipped bike that had obviously been well taken care of. Doug knew the previous owner, who had bought the bike from Thunder Mountain originally. “FIRST OFF, TM IS TOP SHELF AND NOTHING LESS! We purchased a 2006 Electra Glide and Richard was our salesperson. Not only was he a riot (funny guy!) and very entertaining, he was also knowledgable and HONEST. He’s the kind of salesman others wish they could be. There’s no run-around, its all out in the open and he makes it EASY. He recognizes if you are having a problem making the right decision and he won’t proceed until you are ready (and he can tell that, believe me!) I lost a good friend who was beating cancer and then died after a wreck on his harley and I was having a hard time making the decision to get back on two wheels after being away from it for a few years, and we were about to sign the papers when he saw I was having diffuculty with it. He closed his book and said “you’re not ready” and there was no pressure at all. Well we did come back several days later to do the deal, and it couldn’t have gone better. Justin was awesome with the paperwork too, and made sure we were comfortable with everything just like Richard did. The whole store is filled with happy friendly employees, and we are glad to be a continuing part of the TM family. We’ve always had a friend in Tim at he parts counter, and we’ve added Richard and Justin to our (gotta say hello) to list of people too! If you want to be treated right, its THUNDER MOUNTAIN HD!”

“I was touring from the Dallas area to Billings, MT., the ride was awesome. On the return portion of my trip my brake lights wouldn’t turn off just north of Casper, WY. So, in turn, the cruise control wouldn’t work. I stopped in the local Harley shop in Casper and was told that the part needed wasn’t in stock and sent me on my way. Safety apparently was not an issue with the mechanic. The next morning I rode on to your shop. As soon as I arrived,your shop put my bike directly on a lift. For about an hour I got to visit with your staff in the showroom. I was back out on the hiway with functional brake lights and cruise control. Had been talking to one of your sales people and had a budget to work with. Nothing fell in our fiscal budget to ride. However one of your sales people remembered a bike that came from out of state, had a lot of custom features on it and needed some TLC ( and couldn’t we all) didn’t even ride it and said ” I’ll take it” my wife about fainted.
