Sales Team

Nick Hill

General Sales Manager

Nick started at Thunder Mountain in the parts department while he was in college at Colorado State University. From parts he progressed through internet sales, sales, finance and insurance to ultimately become the general sales manager. He originally became involved in the H-D lifestyle because of his passion for motorcycles, but stays because of the life long relationships he has built here. Nick enjoys spending time with his family and anything outdoor including fishing, shooting, wakeboarding, and motocross. He rides a 2010 H-D Street Glide that has been completely blacked out, leaving no chrome for confusion!

“When a person becomes a part of our THMD family it is truly an unforgettable experience and a lifestyle change! It is not about what we do, it’s about how we do it!”

Chip Dunmon

Internet Sales

Chip graduated from Penn State in 1991. At age 10, he traded two lawn mowers for a 1968 Harley, and as he would say, it was “game over” from there. Vintage, low, rusty cars and motorcycles truly are his passion—he spends his free time riding and working on Harleys. He also likes to spend free time with his family who all live in Colorado. Currently Chip rides a 2013 Ultra Limited and is in the process of blacking it out and pumping it up. Chip has been with Thunder Mountain since 2012.

“I will do everything within the confines of the law to get you the Harley-Davidson that you want and deserve.”

Doug Scritchfield

Sales Floor Manager

Originally from California, Doug has been a part of the Thunder Mountain family since 1996. He worked in pre-owned and sales before landing the position of sales floor manager. Besides “hanging out with the fam,” Doug loves skateboarding, motocross, and martial arts. He currently owns 3 bikes; a 2009 FLHT, a 1981 FXWG and a CRF 450 R.

Lonnie Brockman

Motorcycle Sales

Lonnie is originally from Boise, Idaho, but relocated to Fort Collins in 2000. He has been with Thunder Mountain since 2009. Easy going with an infectious booming laugh, Lonnie loves to ski, boat, hunt, and, of course, ride motorcycles. He boasts about his wife and 3 beautiful children ages 29, 8, and 4. Lonnie enjoys how working in sales allows him to create his own customer base and gives him the opportunity to talk to people about his passion, Harley-Davidson.

“Harley-Davidson is the last bit of Americana there is—it doesn’t matter what you do for a living or what has happened in your past. On a Harley-Davidson, everyone is on the same playing field. It is family you can pick.”

Mike Gochanour

Sales Floor Manager

Mike has 8 years of experience working for Harley-Davidson, and is certified as a sales staff as well as an H-D chrome consultant. Besides hanging out with his wife Dana and two boys Brady and Jackson, Mike likes to skateboard, customize/fabricate bikes and parts, as we all pinstripe. He has loved Harley since his first 99 XL 1200C, and considers himself fortunate to have a job that he loves to go to. He now owns a 2005 Springer Softail with apes and custom sheet metal and paint. He also has a 2002 XL 883 that he is in the process of chopping.

“Harleys can be whatever you want; a comfortable ride to go across the country, a rolling art of self expression, a 120 Horsepower Hot Rod Machine, or the best way to see the Rocky Mountains. For many years I have been privileged to make people’s dream bike a reality.”

JP Cook

Sales Desk Manager

JP grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with two older sisters. JP graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from CSU in 2007, became a TMHD employee in 2009, and has now worked his way up the ladder to our Finance Manager. Growing up, JP’s father rode Harleys and when he obtained a position at Thunder Mountain, he knew he was home. Like most of the Thunder Mountain family, he enjoys anything with two wheels along with boating, camping, golfing, and ice hockey. He also has a love affair with the Chicago Bears. He has owned a 2001 XL1200C, a 1994 FXDWG that was passed down to him by his father, and now has an FLS Softail Slim with 14’ Apes, pushrods, and a black thunder header.

“I strongly believe the building a relationship with our customers is the most important thing when it comes to customer service. I love meeting new people daily and creating a one-of-a kind experience for them.”

Nicholas Doerr

Nick attended MMI from 2003-2005. He loves live music and, of course, motorcycles. His Harley is a 2005 Softail Springer, with 12” ape hangers and a 14” rider backrest. He has a brother in Chicago who owns a music store and Nick has a large family in Boulder. He has always been interested in anything that has an engine and that can be customized. Nick believes that Harley-Davidson is the premium brand and is the first thing that comes to mind when he thinks of excitement and freedom.

Brent Lewis

Brent comes to Thunder Mountain after a successful fifteen year career as an executive chef. He graduated with a Culinary Arts degree from The Art Institute of Denver. A former sport bike rider, Brent purchased his first Harley when he decided it was time to “settle down”. He started with a 2012 FXDF and now rides an eye catching chrome yellow pearl 2013 FLHX. Brent enjoys cooking, traveling, and finding new places… especially when riding his bright yellow street glide!

“You are treated like family. You will leave happy and want to come back just to say ‘Hi’ and show off your bike. We make things fun!”

Elisa Lopez

Motorcycle Sales

Elisa has experience in NutriCare, hospitality, finance, business and administration. Her hobbies are riding motorcycles, being outdoors, watching movies and just having a good time. She has loved Harleys since she was 6 years old and began washing bikes at John’s Harley-Davidson in 2000. She currently rides her own bike but her dream bike is a 2017 Dyna Wide Glide.

“I will go above and beyond. Customers are my friends. I never have a negative attitude.”

Derek Nevins

Sales Floor Manager

Derek has been in the Harley-Davidson business for over three years and has been riding for over 10 years. He fell in love with the experience and the brand and bought his first bike five years ago. Since then, he has owned three Harleys. He currently rides a 2017 Street Glide Special. Derek’s hobbies are riding, skiing, fantasy football, and playing poker.

“I love getting people on their dream bike. Enjoy the ride!”

Cheyenne (Shy) Wortham

Motorcycle Sales

Cheyenne has a B.S. in Marketing and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wyoming, and studied at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute of Orlando. His emphasis was in Harley late and early models and Yamaha Powersports. He grew up loving history and loves that Harley-Davidson has such a long legacy and that they are known worldwide. Cheyenne is married to his best friend Tiffany. He enjoys riding, snowboarding, traveling and skiing and currently rides a Rat Rocket, garage built in 1997 XL Sport with 1250 cc kit, big carb, big cams, Bassani exhaust. It puts out 91 hp and 85 ft lbs. of torque. It’s impossible not to smile while riding it!

“I love the two wheels, and talking about them. I like taking my time to get the customer on the right bike with the right accessories and making friends with them at the same time.”

Harold Love

Delivery Specialist

Harold studied architecture at UCLA. He has been in commercial-wholesale-retail sales for more than 20 years, as the owner of a furniture-manufacturing company, and a cabinet and furniture builder. He once rode a bike for a living as part of a uranium exploration team. He owned his first Harley at age 31 and has owned four since. Harold believes that there is no other bike that has the style, feel, and SOUL of a Harley.

“I am always honest and considerate of my clients’ needs.”

Morgan DeShon

Motorcycle Sales

Morgan is a graduate of Colorado State University. She came to love Harley-Davison bikes because her dad always had Harleys as she was growing up. Morgan has a daughter and two step-kids. She worked in the Motorclothes department in a dealership in Missouri. Her favorite hobby is snowboarding.

Travis Nickey

Motorcycle Sales

Travis has been a member of the US Coast Guard for 10 years. He has his Associates in Arts and is planning to get his Bachelors in Natural Recourse. As a child he was never allowed to have any type of 4wheeler, dirt bike or motorcycle, so when he was old enough he jumped at the chance to follow his dream. Since then he has owned a 4wheeler and a few dirt bikes, but his goal is to one day own a Harley simply because he has always loved the style and sound of them. Besides his interest in motorsports, he also enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, photography, motocross, kayaking, snowboarding, breweries and playing the drums. Fun Fact: He has an older sister who shares the same birthDAY as him! He has done a lot of traveling that has taken him to 22 countries and his most recent travel was a 2-month solo road trip across the country ending in Ft. Collins, where he decided to put his roots and work here at Thunder Mountain.

“I can find something in common with everyone.”

Raiah Phillips

Motorcycle Sales

Raiah has tried many different professions before happily finding herself in the Thunder Mountain family; some of which included a management position, a special FX makeup artist and a model. She started living on her own at the age of 17 and can say that now she has found “home”. In fact, that is what drew her into the motorcycle industry: the acceptance, comradery and family atmosphere; along with her love for the bikes themselves. She currently rides a 2013 ’72 Sportster with a Stage 1, King and Queen seat, Z-Bars with spider webs in the corner and a Sissy Bar with a dagger on top—there is absolutely no other bike that fits her like that one and she is building a list of things to do to her bike to truly make it her own!! Outside of dreaming about her next big bike project, she also enjoys reading about mythology (and anything that gets her creative side running) plus watching her 3 kiddos grow into “these absolute incredible people”.

“My favorite thing about my job are the people I meet and the stories I hear.”
