When the school buses roll out and pumpkin spice takes over, most adults are packing lunches and juggling routines. But what if this fall, you went back to school too—just with a little more horsepower?

At Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson® in Loveland, Colorado, our Riding Academy offers adult motorcycle classes designed to turn beginners into confident riders. Whether you've always dreamed of cruising on two wheels or you're finally making time for yourself, there's no better season—or reason—to get started.

Why Fall is the Best Time to Learn to Ride a Motorcycle

Fall in Northern Colorado is prime riding season. The roads are less congested, the weather is ideal, and the scenery—from Estes Park to the foothills of the Rockies—is breathtaking.

But it's not just about the aesthetics. Cooler temps mean better comfort in riding gear, and shorter days allow for flexible evening classes. If you've been waiting for the perfect time to enroll in motorcycle riding lessons near Fort Collins, Greeley, or Loveland, this is it.

Who Can Take the Course? (Hint: You!)

No experience? No problem.
Don't own a bike yet? We'll provide one.
Nervous about being "too old" to start? Most of our students are 30–60.

We regularly work with adults who are brand-new to riding or returning after a long break. Many of our students are women, veterans, retirees, or professionals simply chasing a lifelong dream.

What Happens After You Graduate?

Successful students receive a Colorado DMV waiver, allowing them to skip the riding test and easily add a motorcycle endorsement to their license. But the benefits don't stop there.

  • Exclusive discounts on Harley-Davidson motorcycles for new riders
  • Support from our Thunder Mountain H.O.G.® Chapter
  • Personalized gear and motorcycle fitting
  • Ongoing community rides, workshops, and more

We're here to help you every mile of the journey—from learning how to shift gears to picking out your first bike.

This Fall, Start Something That's Yours

It's never too late to try something new. And it's definitely not too late to ride.
Reserve your spot in our next Riding Academy class and take the first step toward freedom, confidence, and a whole new way to see the world.
